Nicky Law has talked about the past fortnight being the toughest start to a pre season schedule he’s ever had and he credits that to the planning of Jim Henry.
Our new Head of Sports Science is clearly having an impact on the training pitch despite only being here since the start of the season himself, and new signing Law told the Official Site.
‘The whole schedule has been pretty hard but the lads are enjoying it and hopefully we’ll keep getting our fitness levels up. It has been the toughest pre season I’ve had so far and quite a few of the lads have said that as well. Jim has come in and worked us well.’
Law says that whilst there haven’t been a huge number of long distance running, Henry has them working on short bursts and strength work and everybody has been impressed with his ideas and methods so far.
