As per Cambridge United’s official website, forward Andrew Dallas has left Rangers for the English League Two side.

Dallas spent time outside the top flight on loan last season and it’s clear that Steven Gerrard did not see enough from him to decide that he had a future at Ibrox.

Indeed, the forward has decided to switch Scottish football for English football and it remains to be seen how he will get on.

Last year, Cambridge United struggled a lot at times in League Two and were very much a part of the relegation scrap in the fourth tier.

They lacked goals in particular and so they have looked to sign Dallas as a potential remedy for that.

Meanwhile, the Gers continue to gear up for another European tie with Progres on Thursday evening before the season begins in terms of the league with a trip to Kilmarnock this weekend.
