The Champions League showdown at Ibrox is almost ready to commence with the welcome update provided that the stadium PA system is to be switched off at 7.30pm
Whilst the occasion isn’t quite what it was a few months ago when RB Leipzig were put to the sword at Ibrox, the expectation and strength of feeling will certainly come close.
Following the terrible 0-2 loss in Belgium last week, Rangers now have to overturn that deficit if progression is to be secured – a feat which has never been done before.
European nights at Ibrox are back and we find ourselves in a difficult situation going in two goals behind Royale Union Saint Gilloise in this tie. We must rally round our players until the very last to help them overturn this deficit and make it uncomfortable for the opposition. pic.twitter.com/GkYBd9SMY4

As stated above in the communication from Broomloan Collective, led by the Union Bears in section BF1, the mission is to bring the noise and give the Belgians the Ibrox roar!
The players know they need to fare better than their dismal showing in Leuven with the supporters set to do all they can to play their part – that also has to be encouraged by what the fans see happening on the pitch.

John Lundstram struck the right tone, in front of the media when previewing the clash but those words need matched with deeds, he added:
“We know what is expected of us as Rangers players and we will try to put it right.”
A win and qualification secured with verve would set-up a mammoth decider over the next two weeks against PSV or Monaco with that tie currently deadlocked at 1-1 in what is an evenly matched contest.
That can wait though. First of all it’s all about Ibrox tonight and what the Gers can do, how much they want it and the reaction from last week.
Bring it on.
