Everyone is entitled to their opinion, however, some are more relevant and worth listening to others.

Danny Mills, the BBC Five Live pundit, has been reacting to the rumours that Rangers are looking for £13million plus for Alfredo Morelos with Porto heavily linked with the Colombian striker and the former England man claims that the Portuguese giants could land him for as little as £9m, as told to Football Insider:

“It’s not a huge figure for somebody who can score your goals, somebody who’s got real quality and will be a pain in the backside at times.

“If they’re setting the price of £13million, you may get him for £9million plus a couple of add-ons.

“It’s pretty cheap in this day and age, realistically. There’s not a huge amount of risk in that.

“If you get 18 decent months out of him at that price then you’ve got your money’s worth.

“He’s a very good goalscorer, so there’s no reason why he can’t make that step across.”

If Alfredo Morelos was playing in England, there is no way that Mills would be tipping him to be sold for as little as £9m, he’s an established international and has scored nearly 100 goals in under four full seasons at Rangers – becoming the club’s all-time record goal scorer in European football in the process.

How many players do Rangers have at the Euros this summer?

There is also the small matter of rejecting a £16m bid last summer, and Morelos is, arguably, a more improved and mature footballer now, £9m? Not a chance.
