The gold standard for Rangers transfer model will always be players like Glen Kamara and Alfredo Morelos, signing raw, talented players for relatively small fees before selling them on at a huge profit.

Nirvana would be signing truly generational talents before they make their big move, players like Kylian Mbappe or Erling Haaland spring to mind, something that Vital Rangers has already covered.

One such player who could be the next “big thing” is 18-year old Nigerian winger Akinkunmi Amoo, someone we have covered before and who’s progress appears to be going in one direction.

The Hammarby forward has started the Swedish Allsvenskan season on fire and already has four goals and one assist to his name in ten appearances, little wonder that the likes of Leicester City, Ajax, Altetico Madrid and Borrusia Dortmund are starting to circle.

And this is what I mean about getting in there first.

James Bisgrove has previously talked about looking at commercial models at Porto and Ajax but the clubs linked with Amoo also have qualities that we should aspire to.

The likes of Jamie Vardy and N’Golo Kante at Leicester are great examples of clever recruitment, whilst Dortmund – although they paid decent fees to get them – look set to make a small fortune on Jadon Sancho and Haaland, there is no reason why we can’t attract players from countries like Sweden to put them in a bigger shop window especially whilst we have Steven Gerrard at the helm – Akinkunmi Amoo, remember the name.
