Aberdeen man is feeling brash already ahead of Rangers replay

|

As quoted by the Daily Record, Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes has said that he does not care that the Scottish Cup replay is going to Ibrox.

The Gers and the Dons played out a closely-fought, entertaining game and it really could have gone either way at Pittodrie.

We perhaps were not at our best, then, but it is safe to say we are now the favourites to progress with the replay set to be played at our place on Tuesday 12th March.

It should be a cracker, then, and it appears as though Derek McInnes is far from overawed by the prospect of coming to Glasgow.

He said in rather brash mannger:

“We have to do it all over again and it doesn’t matter to me that we have to go to Glasgow.”

He can’t exactly say that they’re frightened, but I bet they are thinking that they have lost a real opportunity to progress.

Indeed, I expect a top performance from us next week to get into the semi-finals of the competition.
