Fans are excited about the potential of Rangers prospect Zak Rudden after he netted for the Scotland U19s side today.
The 19-year-old, who is currently out on loan at Scottish Championship side Falkirk, scored the opening goal in a 3-1 UEFA Elite Round win over Turkey.
The forward has been in exciting form at club level this season scoring 11 goals and it’s clearly transferring into the international arena too.
With Rangers fans desperate to see homegrown talent make the breakthrough at Ibrox, can he possibly push for a first-team place under Steven Gerrard next season?
That remains to be seen and he may well end up moving on loan to a Premiership club, but what is clear is the fact he has significant potential and is one to watch closely over the next 12 months.
If he can keep banging in the goals for club and country, Gerrard will eventually take notice.
These supporters took to Twitter tonight to share their thoughts on his talents…
Zak Rudden would be some signing for a Premiership side next season. If he isn't given a chance at Rangers. #goals

Wonder if much like Ryan Hardie he will sign a contract extension and be loaned to a Premiership team until the winter break?
