Rangers may have missed out on transfer move for international midfielder

|

Rangers transfer target Graeme Shinnie looks unlikely to make a move to Ibrox this summer, as reported by The Express.

The paper say the Aberdeen midfielder, his agent and the Dons have all ruled out him making the switch to Ibrox at the end of the season, despite Rangers interest, with Luton Town now leading the chase for his services.

The ambitious League One side, who look certain to win promotion to the English Championship, are keen on bringing Shinnie down south to link up with his brother Andrew who has been a star for them this season, according to the report.

The Scottish Sun had previously reported this week that Steven Gerrard sees him as the kind of midfield leader that can help us win trophies next season, with Ryan Jack making a similar move in 2017 and proving to be a success.

Shinnie, who is currently on international duty with Scotland, certainly has a big decision to make.

However, if he sees Luton Town as a viable move over the Gers then clearly his priorities and his ambitions are not in the right place and we’d be better off without him anyway.
