Plenty of Rangers fans are prepared for the club to cut losses with left-back Borna Barisic this summer after his form took another nosedive at home to Aberdeen tonight in the Scottish Cup.
He was one of Steven Gerrard’s big summer signings last year but after a initial promising spell in the first-team has completely lost whatever confidence he had and is now producing regular abysmal performances.
The Croatian struggled again tonight in one of our biggest games of the season, with plenty feeling that Andy Halliday should not only come into the team until the end of the season but that Barisic should be on the list of summer exits.
Whether that happens of course remains to be seen but surely the manager is also losing faith in the player?
It’s going to be very interesting to see what Gerrard’s next team selection is when we play Kilmarnock in massive Scottish Premiership clash this coming Saturday at Ibrox.

Quite simply, that should be the end of the line for a number of regular starters in this Rangers team. They simply cannot be relied upon for various reasons. Arfield, Candeias, Barisic, Jack all need upgraded.
