Rangers have taken a one goal advantage over FC Ufa into half-time at Ibrox this evening, after defender Connor Goldson netted shortly before the interval.
There’s no doubt it’s been a difficult evening so far for Steven Gerrard’s side in the UEFA Europa League play-off tie, FC Ufa look a decent side, but the team have managed to rise to the occasion again.
The goal had Ibrox erupting and supporters rushing to social media to share their joy with Connor Goldson after his poacher’s finish.
He’s made his name in the defensive line so far this summer but he’s now chipped in with two goals in his 10 matches, rapidly making himself a real fan favourite.
Here’s hoping the team can finish off the game in the second half and bring a healthy lead to Russia next week.
