For all of our depth, it’s clear that Rangers lack a bit of offensive quality. Steven Gerrard has very few options when it comes to picking strikers, and over the course of the season, that’s a problem.

Rangers have a perfect chance to break into the title race this season. We haven’t been able to achieve that aim for a few years, but with Celtic stumbling earlier this season and Steven Gerrard’s men improving every week, we’ve got a real opportunity.

However, in order to make that dream a reality, we need a bit more quality, and we recently asked fans whether Oliver McBurnie would be a good signing.

Though ambitious, McBurnie would certainly solve our offensive problems, with his 7 league goals this term likely enough to tempt many clubs.

It’s a move that would certainly interest many Rangers fans, at least. We asked them whether they’d like to see McBurnie move to Rangers, and a whopping 88% of those polled have revealed that they would.

McBurnie would be a great option for the present and the future, and although he would be costly, the attacker would have years to pay it back at Ibrox.

Thoughts? Would he be a good signing?
