Lee Wallace says that unlike last summer, fans should really see the benefits of an organised and stable pre season campaign this time around.

Speaking to the Official Site with an eye back to this time last year where we only had six players officially on the books, and were without a licence to even play in SPL3, Wallace says that it did go a long way towards the start Rangers had in the league.

Now we have a settled pre season campaign, we have a tour that will help the current and new players bond, and everybody is on the same page, and that will be reflected in how Rangers will start the season.

‘Last season it was all a bit broken, but the organisation and structure are now there. There were a few young lads but we didn’t even have a licence to play games, and the two or three we did have were training matches behind closed doors. It wasn’t the best preparation whereas this season it looks spot on.’

Wallace says that the plans are in place, and the players know what they are and what they are working towards and the we have the squad set apart from any new additions, so we should hit the ground running.
