In our last poll we asked if Ally McCoist was the right man to lead Rangers. The result is an overwhelming yes. 72% of you voted yes with only 28% said no.
It is clear that Rangers fans are delighted with the announcement and believe McCoist is the right man to take Rangers forward after Walter Smith steps down.
Rangers legend and hall of famer McCoist was a fans favourite as a player, breaking all sorts of scoring records. He now hopes to bring as much success to his boyhood heroes as a manager as he did a player.
