Rangers were beaten for the first time in the league as the 100% record was ended by Hibernian with a two-one defeat in Scottish Championship on Sunday.

The 100% Championship record has ended, thoughts of a ‘perfect season’ can now be put behind Rangers, which perhaps isn’t a bad thing not that defeat was of course ‘a good thing’ as it wasn’t!

Cummings curled home a fine effort to put Hibernian ahead early on, a quality strike you’ve got to applaud but Rangers levelled when former Gers man McGregor deflected a Wallace effort past his own ‘keeper Oxley to make it one-all early in the second half.

Wallace hit the crossbar and Oduwa the post as Rangers looked for a winner but it was Hanlon who got this for Hibs when he headed home after hesitant Gers defending at a corner.

The above video shows the highlights from this game at Easter Road, which means the Rangers lead at the top, whilst still healthy that could have stood at 11-points was reduced from eight to five-points.

A Gers reaction will be expected next time round….
