Rangers official Twitter feature ‘pic of the day’ hit the spot on Tuesday with a fine image of two Ibrox icons, Steven Gerrard and John Greig, accompanied by the Premiership trophy.
Pride, class, loyalty, leadership, legends.
The superlatives could go on and on.
As does the feelgood factor, following on from the trophy celebrations last weekend that united fans, players, staff and all at the club in unbridled joy.

Whether it is Gerrard and Greig, as above, Alfredo Morelos, Steven Davis, the skipper James Tavernier, standout goalkeeper Allan McGregor or even legendary kit man, Jimmy Bell, the fans just can’t get enough content.
With many more pictures and behind the scenes cheer still to be unveiled, the happiness is here to last into the new season.
At present there is a very strong bond between fans and players that can only be a good thing, as the manager Gerrard aims to add to his squad to push on and find the next level.
