Rangers will be looking to make some key signings in the summer window in order to close the gap down to Celtic in the league.
The Gers aren’t far away now and with the right arrivals Steven Gerrard and his players are bound to be able to challenge for the title next year.
It’s all about the summer, then, and apparently – according to Football Insider – the boss has been given the go-ahead to target a marquee, big-money striker to help fire us to the title.
Who that is remains to be seen, of course, but it certainly sounds exciting and that we are really going to show we mean business this year.
Of course, what that means for the future of Alfredo Morelos also remains to be seen but if we could keep him, have Jermain Defoe and then bring in one more striker we’d be a real force.
