According to Football Insider, Rangers have given up in the chase for Mark Beevers with club sources saying that he is going to go elsewhere this summer.

The Gers will be looking to add to their side as much as possible in the window as we go about trying to nab Celtic in the coming campaigns and a few signings here and there early doors would be nice.

Mark Beevers won’t be joining it seems, though, with him apparently set to leave Bolton for League One club Peterborough United down in England in the window.

Rangers need a new centre-half for sure this summer with Joe Worrall leaving the club after his loan spell from Nottingham Forest came to an end.

We have options at the back, but perhaps not enough and it is clear that Gerrard and the club are looking for the best solution to the lack of cover we’ve got right now.
