Rangers put in a sub-par performance last night and wound up losing to Aberdeen at Ibrox in a game that we could rue come the end of the campaign.
Winning games like that – especially at home – is a must, and the Gers never really looked like earning the three points.
They could have played until midnight and they still wouldn’t have scored with too many proving passengers and too many going hiding.
Certainly, a fair few needed a shake during the game but many were not impressed by James Tavernier’s efforts to do so.
He isn’t a shouter and it seems as though some felt that he needed to give a few a rocket during the game.
I like Tav, myself, but I can see why he divides opinion – especially on nights like last night.
