Rangers put in a sub-par performance last night and wound up losing to Aberdeen at Ibrox in a game that we could rue come the end of the campaign.

Winning games like that – especially at home – is a must, and the Gers never really looked like earning the three points.

They could have played until midnight and they still wouldn’t have scored with too many proving passengers and too many going hiding.

Certainly, a fair few needed a shake during the game but many were not impressed by James Tavernier’s efforts to do so.

He isn’t a shouter and it seems as though some felt that he needed to give a few a rocket during the game.

I like Tav, myself, but I can see why he divides opinion – especially on nights like last night.

  • everything seems to revolve around what Morelos we are going to get in any given game, and it seems to me that his lack of English seems to be a draw back when trying to get logical street wise messages through to him, perhaps some one talking to him in his own language and getting through to him how to be cute and turn the tables on the opponents who are successfully getting the better of him in gamesmanship, because much as he is giving us a major headache I am sure there are a number of opponents getting off Scot free.
