With proper football returning tonight for Rangers fans as we host FC Shkupi at Ibrox for the first leg of the Europa League Qualifying First Round, for the traditionalists amongst the fanbase – maybe that should read hoarders, I’m not sure – it also represents the first opportunity to build a new collection for 2018/19.
???? PROGRAMME: European football returns to Ibrox tonight, and we have a packed match programme that’s available in print and digital: https://t.co/r1y4wn2NxK

Those amongst us with a penchant for keeping ticket stubs and collecting programmes for nostalgia purposes won’t just be looking at tonight’s match as the start of a brand new season for the club as we go into the fixture list of the 2018/19 campaign for real – it also represents the start of what everyone hopes will be a fruitful foray into European competition that lasts at least, a touch longer, than it did at this stage last year.
Few will be demanding the Europa League title or even a quarter-final as manager Steven Gerrard takes his first steps into a debut managerial season and the same applies for his new squad who are a while of fully gelling.
I would bet the vast majority have hopes for the Group Stage of the competition though.
