The chat around Ryan Jack and him signing a new contract with Rangers appears to be continuing with the Gers’ former full-back Alan Hutton endorsing the move.
The midfielder has been excellent for us this season in the middle of the park and the improvement he has shown during his time at the club is an example to all the players at the club.
It makes sense that the Gers are looking to get him on a new deal, then, and it seems as though that is something Alan Hutton agrees with.
Quoted by Football Insider, the former Rangers man had this to say:
“Obviously due to his performances, there is now talk of a new contract which he thoroughly deserves.”
Certainly, it seems fair to assume that the Gers are looking to get their key men on longer deals than they are currently and Jack is certainly a key player.
A midfielder that leads by example in the middle of the pitch, he embodies what our club is about and the sooner he signs a new deal the better for us.
