We’re just hours away from our biggest game of the season so far and I cannot wait to see how we’re going to get on at Ibrox tonight.
We’ve been waiting for so long for nights like this one and I expect the atmosphere to be much higher than fever pitch when the Gers take to the grass tonight.
It could be a very special occasion and, that in mind, Steven Gerrard needs to get his team selection bang on and pick the players that can handle the pressure.
With that said, though, there are a couple of players set to miss out despite being close to a return to action.
Speaking to the press, Stevie revealed that both Borna Barisic and Ryan Kent will be missing this one as it is just too soon for the both of them:

Certainly, I think that is for the best and we have many fine options that can play instead so no bother.
