Rangers have been quick to act in this January transfer window – with many signings coming in particularly for our attack and midfield.
It seems as though we might not be done yet, though, with the Gers linked with plenty of other players right now and some are more established than others.
With that in mind, then, Turkish outlet Fanatik is reporting that we are keen on defender Martin Skrtel – a player Steven Gerrard obviously knows well.
Proven in the Champions League and on an international level, the big defender is as hard as nails and would surely be a good addition for us.
The report is suggesting Gerrard wants him this month, too, though we might have to wait until the summer to get him.
If we can nab him, though, we’ll have a spine of players with real top class experience and quality and that will surely send out a message to the rest of the league.
