Rangers are looking good across the pitch at the moment and you have to applaud the work that has been done by Steven Gerrard and the board.
The Gers have been quick to act in this window and have improved the core of the team with some top signings.
Both Jermain Defoe and Steven Davis will prove quality additions and it seems as though Gerrard is intent on making our stem the best in the league.
Indeed, according to Turkish outlet Fanatik, the boss is looking at Martin Skrtel with a preference for trying to get him signed this month – though we could have to wait until January.
The big defender knows the boss well from their days at Liverpool, of course, and would be a class addition with top class knowhow.
Indeed, I am firmly of the opinion that if he signed we would then have the best spine in the division – packed full of Premier League experience.
