Source close to key Rangers figure reveals his future plans

|

As quoted in an exclusive interview with the Liverpool ECHO, Michael Beale has discussed Steven Gerrard’s plans for the future and, obviously, the Liverpool job.

With the Reds going well in the league at the moment, there seems little chance that the Anfield club is going to let the German go anytime soon which, of course, is a boost for us.

Many, of course, are expecting eventually that Steven Gerrard will return to Anfield as manager one day but, hopefully, it won’t be for a while and until after he’s won some trophies with us.

For Beale, too, he can’t see Gerrard moving on anytime soon.

He revealed:

“I don’t think Steven is looking too far ahead, it is a big job and obviously that is the dream – or rather, the aim – for him long term to manage the club.

“But I think Steven would say himself, right now, the best manager for Liverpool Football Club is Jurgen Klopp. Long may that continue.”

Klopp is doing a great job there, just as Gerrard is at Ibrox and we don’t want things to change in that regard anytime soon.

He’s got us top of the league and fighting for trophies again, so hopefully that’ll continue for some time to come.
