Slavia Prague have arrived in Glasgow ahead of Thursday’s massive Europa League clash.

The Czechs have opted for two full days of preparation, right up to kick-off two days from now.

They confirmed their arrival in the city earlier this evening, with a piper present to greet them at their hotel.

Jindřich Tripišovský’s side will go into the encounter at Ibrox feeling confident given the second-leg outcome of their Last 32 tie against Leicester – following a draw in the first leg.

This time, Rangers have a slight advantage with the away goal secured in Prague but Slavia will be out to get a goal of their own to nullify Filip Helander’s strike.

With the 1-1 scoreline from the first-leg, the tie is finely poised in what is shaping up to be a great contest between the two sides.

At the weekend, Slavia Prague enjoyed a 0-3 away win over Mlada Boleslav – with Romanian international Nicolae Stanciu helping himself to a double, following on from his superb strike against Rangers.

He believes that his team will be better prepared for Thursday evening, with the momentum from their league game at the weekend compared to Rangers who were not in action.

Rangers fans will be hoping that their trip to Ibrox is not a memorable one and tonight, this fan couldn’t help himself from expressing his excitement for the game toward the visitors…
