You get the feeling that there is going to be a fair bit of an inquest in the coming days as the Gers look back on another case of falling short in the big games.
The Gers had a fine chance to get into a final under Steven Gerrard at the weekend but despite missing some chances never really did enough to put Aberdeen away.
They were there to be beat but we underperformed and I think there will be a few heads being scratched and some questions being thrown.
One man that has split opinion after the weekend, too, is James Tavernier.
So often a good player for us, he struggled to really perform against Aberdeen yesterday.
His delivery from corners and free-kicks was well below par and, after coming out and speaking about the game after full-time, the debate over his showing has only continued among our fans.
