As per the Scotsman, Rangers sent scouts to the recent Croatian Super Cup game between Dinamo Zagreb and HNK Rijeka on Saturday afternoon.

The Gers have signed a lot of players this summer window so far.

The likes of Joe Aribo, George Edmundson and Filip Helander have all joined the club and Steven Gerrard now has a big squad at his disposal.

It could be the case that he is not done just yet, though, though the report reveals that it is not clear who the Gers were taking a closer look at during the game.

Indeed, it could also be argued that we were just taking in a match in case there were any stars worth following up this summer or at another point in the future.

Gerrard has shown he is happy to dip into the Croatian market with some of the players that he has signed already and so it’s perhaps not a massive shock to see this story come about.
