Report makes very bold claim about Steven Gerrard’s next destination after Rangers

|

According to Football Insider, Leeds United are keeping an eye on Rangers manager Steven Gerrard as their potential successor for Marcelo Bielsa.

The Argentine manager has got great pedigree and has done a good job at Leeds with them playing good football in the English Sky Bet Championship.

However, if they do not get promoted again this season they might be thinking that Bielsa is not going stay around much longer and, therefore, they’ll need a new manager.

According to this report, then, it’s Gerrard that is looking like one they’re considering though I have serious doubts that is going to happen.

Gerrard is keen on winning things with Rangers, that is clear, and they’ll only be looking for a manager – potentially – if they don’t go up.

Leeds are a big club but with no Premier League football I can’t see Gerrard going there, I can’t see him going there even if they are promoted.
