Rangers look to respond to the defeat, well the ‘thrashing’, we suffered at Queen of the South on Thursday when Raith come to Ibrox on Sunday.

We’ll be hoping, in a game that kick-off off a little ahead of ours, that Hearts can do us a favour by beating Hibernian in the Edinburgh derby…. Then again we shouldn’t be looking to others to do us favours should we!

Cammy Bell, Dean Shiels and Tom Walsh will all come back in after missing Queen of the South.

After his sending off recently captain Lee McCulloch (suspension) sits out though with injures keeping out Sebastien Faure, Richard Foster, Stevie Smith and Remie Streete.

McCall told the official website: ‘Walsh took part in about an hour long bounce game and has come through with no ill-effect so hopefully he should be okay to be involved in the squad for Sunday. I think Cammy has done a light bit of training so there’s a possibility that he’ll available.

‘Shiels needed a rest with aches and pains and the fact that we were playing on the astro pitch in Dumfries – so he’ll be fresh for Sunday. Jon Daly is also out and he’ll likely not be ready for another 10 days or so.’

Raith have already beaten us in the Scottish Cup at Ibrox this season, for a first win in over 50-years, they’ll be looking to do this in the league for the first time in 56-years but we’ll be looking to defend that proud record!

What way will this one go though? It’s got to be a Rangers win, hasn’t it?
