Rangers have agreed a deal to sign Glen Kamara from Dundee this January, according to Sky Sports.
The player has already pledged his future to the Gers, signing a four-year deal on a pre-contract basis earlier this month.
Despite negotiations between the two sides that would see him make the switch to Glasgow early, it was thought the two clubs would not be able to find agreement.
However, Sky Sports are reporting that a last ditch compromise has been found and he will be joining up with Steven Gerrard’s squad imminently.
The capture immediately provides even more competition for places in the middle of the park, which is already stacked with talent like Steven Davis, Scott Arfield, Ryan Jack and Ross McCrorie.
At the very least though it will give the Finnish international a few months to get used to life at Auchenhowie and Ibrox, with a view to making a big first-team impact come pre-season.
