Rangers were very active in the summer window and that left us rather excited and breathless at times.
A glut of players arrived at Ibrox but we were kept on our toes right to the end of the transfer window with Ryan Kent only joining in the final hours of the market.
Even so, he did join yesterday and that came after a number of players left the club – heralding a new dawn at Ibrox.
Indeed, one of those to exit underlined just how the Gers are at a new level now.
Joe Dodoo left the club and despite him being a professional throughout, he was no longer good enough for the Gers and needed to go:

He was well liked but he represented the old guard and a time where we no longer competed for the top honours in the country.
Times have changed now, though, and we’re looking forward to a step up in class for the future.
