Rangers need a new Naismith

With the January transfer window set to open tonight at midnight, surely Rangers will be looking to get someone in to replace Steven Naismith as soon as possible?

It is no coincidence that since Rangers lost Steven Naismith to injury for the season, their form has dropped and they now find themselves trailing to Celtic in the SPL.

Naismith is so vital to Rangers and as well as being at the heart of so much that Rangers create, he also weighs in with lots of goals. If Rangers are serious about getting back on top and winning four in a row, they really need to fill that gap.

Ally McCoist brought in Sone Aluko on a free, and he is a good player but let’s be honest, he is no Naismith and he is NOT the answer. Hopefully Craig Whyte will give Ally some money to bring in a replacement.

If we have to lost Nikica Jelavic to fund it then so be it. We could always bring in Kris Boyd to bang in the goals and use the Jelavic money to bring in a new Naismith.
