As per the Daily Record, Rangers youngster Josh McPake is off to Dundee on loan as he looks to take the next step forward in his progress.
The young player is one of several fine talents coming through at the moment and now is the time for the likes of him – and others – to start getting senior minutes.
With the options we have got in his position on the pitch, though, it is clear that he is not going to be breaking into our side just yet, and so it’s time for him to head out on loan and start getting experience.
Dundee appears to be his destination, then, and that will provide him a good platform at a decent level at a decent-sized club.
Not too big for him to be overawed but big enough where expectations are of a considerable size at least.
I’m sure we’ll all be watching him keenly as he makes the move.
