No Rangers action for another 10 days, the dreaded international break is here.

Following the 1-1 Old Firm draw at the weekend, our next game is Sunday 4 April against Cove Rangers in the Scottish Cup.

The fixture, as expected, has been selected for TV coverage and given a 6.30 PM kick-off which will be far from popular.

For now, the World Cup qualifiers have rolled around, interspersed with friendly games, as well as AFCON qualifiers for the African nations.

Rangers have nine players called up and ready for action – following Ryan Jack’s Scotland call-off and the late compromise involving Bongani Zungu.

As it stands the following players will be representing their country – and Rangers – in this current international window:

Jon McLaughlin – Scotland
Steven Davis – Northern Ireland
Borna Barisic – Croatia
Filip Helander – Sweden
Ianis Hagi – Romania
Leon Balogun, Joe Aribo – Nigeria
Bongani Zungu – South Africa

A full compilation of fixtures and cap info has been provided on Rangers official website – click here to access the list.

The first of the games involving Ibrox based players commences this evening.

Bongani Zungu was initially expected to miss out on international duty this month, but the latest reports from SA have stated that a late agreement has been struck for him to play in the Bafana Bafana’s second game of their double header, against Sudan in Khartoum.
