Hearts supporters will be present at Ibrox for the big Premiership game on Saturday 16th October.
That news was confirmed yesterday and now the Edinburgh club have learned of the number of tickets they will receive for the game.
A statement released this afternoon included:
“The Club can confirm that tickets will be made available to Hearts supporters for our cinch Premiership fixture away to Rangers later this month.”
“Robbie and the boys head to Ibrox for a 3pm kick-off on Saturday 16th October and Hearts have received an away ticket allocation totalling 916 tickets.”
“Further information on tickets and how to buy will be released in the coming days.”

This update simply makes the encounter even more anticipated.
There was a lot of expectation and weight on the Hibs game last weekend but the absence of away supporters was felt and would have made for a better occasion.
By the time next Saturday comes around, the build-up for the visit of Hearts to Ibrox will be cranked right up, as first plays second.
Following Hearts official complaint to the SPFL over the lack of away allocations, as well as their good form on the pitch, the atmosphere and rivalry will be tangible.
It is how football should be…now just the small matter of the internation break to get through!
