When Rangers won title number 55 we saw Steven Gerrard’s moves as the players celebrated in the privacy of the Ibrox dressing room, however, it would appear that current gaffer Giovanni van Bronckhorst is equally at home on the dance floor.

Somehow a video has emerged on social media of the Gers gaffer showing off as part of Feyenoord’s title party in 2017, Rangers fans using it to show – sarcastically – how he would react to the news of us signing a 35-year old free transfer from League 1.

So far in this transfer window, Gio has had little to cheer about never mind dance about, but there is a feeling that things are about to change, not only in terms of having a few extra pounds from selling Joe Aribo but with some of the rumours flying about regarding players like Theo Bongonda.

The manager came tantalisingly close to becoming a Rangers legend when we lost out on the Europa League by the slimmest of margins and, with the Scottish Cup already in the bag, he will be looking to make amends for our league campaign last season and regain the Premiership title and the automatic Champions League qualification that goes with it.

If he can go one further than his predecessor and make it to the promised land this season, he will have every reason to celebrate, not just because it will be an amazing achievement but because he will, undoubtedly, have even more money to spend.
