Rangers Supporter Liason Officer Greg Marshall has confirmed to fans that the club is affected by the reported UK-wide season ticket issue involving Zebra Finance.
The Scottish Sun reported on Wednesday that clubs like Celtic, Hibs and Hearts have all been left stunned by the finance company’s decision to withdraw from the season ticket market this week, leaving fans unable to pay up expensive tickets across the course of a season.
With season ticket renewal deadlines on the horizon for most clubs, solutions will now have to be found to allow supporters who cannot pay upfront to continue to attend matches.
Rangers SLO Greg Marshall has since confirmed on Twitter that this will be the case at Ibrox too.
Yes, we have today been informed that Zebra Finance are removing their finance service from the football market with immediate effect.
This means the Zebra Finance option for 2019-20 will no longer be available to Rangers supporters.

We are currently exploring alternatives, and would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and recognise that spreading the cost of a season ticket is an important option for some fans.

Hopefully the club can confirm what alternative options will be in place ahead of next season sooner rather than later, with some fans now anxious about being able to afford following the Gers in the 2019/20 season.
