Rangers have been drawn away from home against Queen’s Park in the first round of this season’s Scottish League Cup.
With Hampden occupied by the Commonwealth Games, the game will take place at their temporary home at Airdrie’s Excelsior Stadium and although games are scheduled to be played on the weekend of August 2, the date of the tie is still to be set.
Having fallen at the first hurdle last season, manager Ally McCoist will be hoping to see us be far more productive in the competition this time round.
