We could well be getting to see Glen Kamara in a Rangers shirt sooner than we had originally thought by the sounds of things.

The midfielder has signed a pre-contract agreement with the Gers and will link up with the club in the summer after moving from Dundee.

However, their manager Jim McIntyre has suggested that he could well move on this month and come to Ibrox – it’s certainly what he apparently wants.

The Dundee boss said via the Daily Record:

“I think when a player signs a pre-contract nine times out of 10 he would rather move on – everybody is aware of that.”

Clearly, it would make sense if he did come to club earlier and linked up with our boys but that is not always as easy as it is to say.

Even so, if the Gers and Dundee can work out some sort of figure to bring the deal forward, I’m sure we’d have no qualms with having him for the rest of the season as well as the coming years.
