Rangers have recently confirmed the exit of goalkeeper Jak Alnwick with him extending his loan spell at Scunthorpe United for the rest of the season
The Gers have got Allan McGregor as number 1 with Wes Foderingham in behind and Andy Firth recently joining too.
Alnwick, then, appears well down the pecking order and so it seems to make sense that he is staying with the Iron until the end of the campaign at least.
The League One side have been up and down this season but in recent weeks they have improved and he’ll be looking to help them finish the campaign in strong style.
Whether or not that is enough to play for us again, though, remains to be seen in the summer.

He’s staying put for the rest of the year, then, and you have to wish him luck ahead of what could perhaps be a move in the summer for him.
