Rangers will face Braga in the quarter final of the Europa League.

This tie represents probably the most ‘winnable’ draw for Rangers to secure a place in the last four and if Rangers progress one further round, we will play RB Leipzig or Atalanta.

Could the stars be aligning once again like they did in 2008? Things are getting very interesting for sure.

Braga will be familar foes and vice versa after the Last 32 meeting two seasons ago with the Gers victorious. Make no mistake about it, this is a very good draw, but the Portuguese will be saying the same.

Braga are currently fourth in the Primeira Liga, eight points behind Benfica in third and a significant 24 behind league leaders Porto.

If you are into omens, back in 2008, Rangers went to Portugal before the semi-final in Italy – that path is viable once again!

The games will be played on 7th and 14th April.
