With Aaron Ramsey expected to be annouced as a Rangers player very shortly, there has been much talk about the finance of the deal.

That is more than understandable given the obvious parameters involved with this deal, it is far from normal in this day and age in football for Rangers to be able to sign a player of the calibre of Ramsey, to be negotiating with a European power like Juventus on transfers.

Actual, incredible stuff and to emphasise that, a claim was made by Kaveh Solhekol (via Sky Italy) on Sky Sports News ‘Transfer Show’ tonight that the Welsh international is on a wage of approximately €200,000.00 per week – meaning roughly £110k after tax.

That is not something that Rangers cannot contend with, so then the make-up of the deal comes under the spotlight. VitalRangers understands that a fee in excess of £2million will be paid to the Bianconeri.

This could represent an effective payment for the agreement as well a contribution towards his salary for the rest of the season.

Meanwhile, a further report has came from Romeo Agresti, who has been on top of this move closely all day, stating that a medical has been concluded and all that remains is the confirmation.

What a day, what a deal, what a story.
