Rangers’ Dado Prso will find out on Tuesday whether he has to retire from football due to his problem knee injury.
The big Croatian will see the specialist on Tuesday, and he will be told whether or not he can carry on beyond the end of this season.
Prso revealed earlier in the season that he may not be able to carry on and there is a good chance he could retire, but recently he had hinted that he may sign a new contract and carry on playing.
His agent Ranko Stojic said: ‘We will let the doctor decide whether Dado is okay to play on and then we will discuss next season, but the specialist’s decision is crucial for Dado.’
Rangers gaffer Walter Smith would hope that the big man can carry on as he is such an important player for the club, and he would have no problem giving him a new contract if fit.
