This was the rearranged match after the original fixture was postponed due to Elgin selling too many tickets.
Rangers played Elgin City at the start of this month in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup and it was a comfortable 3-0 victory to set up a fifth round tie against Dundee United at Tannadice.
