On loan Rangers striker Andy Dallas is determined to prove he has what it takes to one day play regularly for the Ibrox club, having recently moved on loan to Scottish Championship side Greenock Morton.

The 19-year-old is thought to have a bright future at the club having impressed for the Development Side for a number of months now and the pressure of playing for a promotion chasing side should be a great learning experience for him.

He is relishing getting regular senior action and is taking inspiration from Ryan Hardie after his successful move to Livingston.

As quoted by The Scottish Sun, Dallas said of his future:

Being a Rangers striker, like I hope to be in the future, has plenty of pressure. This spell will let me gauge where I am and how I cope with it every week.

I spoke to Ryan Hardie about him going out on loan in the past and he said it could be good for me. He spoke highly about it and said it was a great learning curve.

He’s beginning to show how good he is in the Premiership after scoring plenty of goals in the Championship last season for Livingston. I just hope I can emulate the success he had by scoring plenty of goals for Morton.

Morton are currently four points adrift of the playoff positions in the Championship but will be hoping to string together an extended run of results to put pressure on sides like Inverness CT and Queen of the South.

Dallas has so far failed to score in two matches, but given his talent and potential, it surely won’t be long before we start seeing his name pop up on the results pages.
