According to Football Insider, Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor is on course to sign a new deal in the next couple of months.
The goalkeeper has been our number one since arriving back at the club and under Steven Gerrard he has proven one of our most reliable performers.
Indeed, he’s looking set to rack up the games again this season and, according to the report from Football Insider, once he hits 25 matches that will see him trigger an automatic extension to his current deal and get him on another one for next season.
With that number in mind, the report states that he could reach that figure before Christmas and so it seems as though he is on track to seal a new deal in a very short amount of time.
Certainly, it’ll be good to have him around for a little bit longer as he’s not showing any signs of declining at the moment.
