It’s on, it’s happening, Rangers are close to the signing of Aaron Ramsay from Juventus.
As far as high profile signings go, it doesn’t get much better than this. It will be an incredible move if this goes ahead.

Photos have emerged this afternoon from Glasgow airport, appearing to show a BMW X7 (the same one that picked up Gio van Bronckhorst) meeting a private plane on the tarmac.
To further solidify the story, Jordan Campbell of The Athletic has reported that in fact, Ramsey is in Glasgow with a deal to sign for Rangers very close:
“Aaron Ramsey is closing in on joining Rangers on loan from Juventus until the end of the season.”
“The Wales international has only played five times for the Serie A side this season and they are understood to be keen to get him off the wage bill. Ramsey has arrived in Glasgow ahead of completing that switch.”
“Ramsey is on huge wages at Juventus but reports in Italy suggest that they are willing to make a significant contribution to his wages for the rest of the season.”

The 31-year old does have his fitness issues, but a fantastic player who would bring exceptional talent to Ibrox.
This emerging and developing story has gone from the unreal and unbelievable to happening before out eyes. It is still hard to take in that Rangers are in the box seat to sign a player of Ramsey’s calibre and to be doing business with Juventus but here we are.
