Rangers were back in league action last night after the winter break and it was a far from ideal start to proceedings for us.

The Gers went into the game with Kilmarnock knowing that we could go top but instead we’ve been jumped by Killie and Celtic have opened up a gap.

Panic stations, it is not time for but it is clear that Steven Gerrard needs to make some changes for our next outing – starting with Joe Worrall.

The defender’s mistake was one thing but from then on the old team got anxious – and that was more telling.

Clearly, there’s a bit of a lack of trust with the Forest defender and though I think he can be a good player, I wonder whether we could still strike a deal with the Reds to take him back? They were interested a few weeks ago.

It might sound a little harsh but he really didn’t cover himself in glory last night, and if a deal can be done we should consider it.
