Returning Rangers man Kyle Lafferty certainly made an impression against Motherwell in the recent Premiership clash where he helped himself to a brace following his move from Hearts.
Having made his second debut for the club in the Europa League first-leg tie with FC Ufa, his two goals helped us to a point in the last match and manager Steven Gerrard will be pleased with the increase in competition at the top of the pitch.
Plenty believe however that Alfredo Morelos should continue to start the second leg this week given the form he’s in and what rides on the game itself as they feel two up top for this one may be counterproductive and we need more strength and an extra body further down the pitch to ensure a positive result.
Can't really think of Sunday before Thursday mate, getting to Europa gaurantees around 7 million and maybe another couple faces, 4 3 3 Thursday with Lafferty on bench am afraid

Laffertys got one over them but I can't make a case for dropping Morelos from the lone striker role. Lafferty off the bench for me. Flanagan has to start full back too.

Gerrard’s most important week as Rangers manager so far
vs UFA – McGregor; Tavernier, Goldson, Katic, Flanagan; Jack, Arfield, Ejaria, Kent, Candeias; Morelos
vs them – McGregor; Tavernier, Goldson, Katic, Flanagan; Coulibaly, Jack, Arfield, Ejaria; Lafferty, Morelos
Two wins

Leave out Laffery and play Coulibaly

Might happen but I worry about being exposed out on the left with a striker on the wing and with Barisic being very attacking.
Kent offers more defensively and in terms of fitness. It’s good that we now have options at least

With a 1-0 advantage, we don’t have to chase the game although we will be looking to kill it off early doors, but, we can expect them to start brightly so a safety-first approach seems preferred – especially as we can’t help have one eye on the weekend.
